Services

Two practices.
One line of sight.

From the first flora walk-over to a signed-off five-year maintenance report, the people scoping your site are the same people managing it. Everything we do falls under one of two practices.

Our practices

Survey to site,
under one roof.

Most ecological consultancies stop at the report. Most land management contractors start after someone else wrote the plan. We do both — intentionally — so nothing gets lost between the two.

Practice 01

On-ground
land management.

Practical restoration works delivered by experienced field crews. Everything from first site prep to long-term maintenance.

Explore the practice

Weed control

Integrated weed management — chemical, mechanical and hand-pulled — by ChemCert-accredited crews.

Revegetation

Tubestock planting, direct seeding, site prep and mulching using indigenous provenance stock.

Erosion & stabilisation

Coir logs, jute matting, rock armouring and bank stabilisation on creek-lines and disturbed slopes.

Fencing & exclusion

Stock exclusion and pest-proof fencing to protect remnant vegetation and new plantings.

Track & access works

Walking track rehabilitation, boardwalk construction and vehicle-track closure in sensitive reserves.

Maintenance contracts

Multi-season maintenance (1–5 years) — follow-up weeding, infill planting and monitoring.

Practice 02

Ecological
consulting.

Surveys, assessments, plans and reports — written to regulatory standards and ready for permit lodgement.

Explore the practice

Flora & fauna surveys

Targeted and opportunistic surveys, including EVC mapping, rare plant searches and habitat assessment.

Vegetation assessment

Habitat hectare and Vegetation Quality Assessment (VQA) to DELWP standards.

Management plans

Environmental management plans, weed management plans, and land management strategies.

Permit reporting

Native Vegetation Removal applications, EPBC referrals and planning overlay assessments.

Compliance monitoring

Pre-works inspections, during-works supervision and post-works compliance reporting.

Expert witness

VCAT and planning panel representation where ecological evidence is in dispute.

Who we work for

Across sectors,
across landscapes.

Government agencies

Parks Victoria, DELWP, Melbourne Water, local councils.

Utilities & infrastructure

Water authorities, energy generators, rail and road projects.

Private landholders

Farms, rural-residential blocks, estates and conservation covenants.

Developers & planners

Pre-purchase assessments, offset planning, permit support.

How it works

The path from
first call to sign-off.

Every engagement looks different, but the shape is usually the same. Here's how a typical project moves through our team.

01

Initial site walk

A no-obligation walk-over by a senior ecologist. We map what's there, identify risks and constraints, and decide together whether the scope needs a full survey or a lighter-touch inspection.

02

Scoping & quote

Clear, itemised scope with fixed prices where possible. No surprise variations — we'll tell you up front if something's likely to change.

03

Survey & report

Field data collected to DELWP and regulatory standards. Reports written in plain English and backed by photographs, maps and GPS-tagged records.

04

Delivery on the ground

Our crews execute the plan — weed control, planting, site prep, whatever's needed. Work logs and site photos issued weekly.

05

Monitor & maintain

Maintenance contracts keep the site trending in the right direction. Annual reporting for grant-funded or compliance-driven projects.
